First, we did monoprinting to paint the paper. Then, we cut it into squares, and learned how to fold origami cranes. Then they strung them on yarn and voilà: beautiful hanging cranes to bring good luck, good health, and long life. All the students in this class have special needs, so this was a really exciting project to see them finish.
