ESOL students learned to make origami 3-D stars!


The 2nd and 8th graders made a total of 96 stars, some with glitter glue, and fancy foil papers. We estimated the total number of stars, and the closest estimator will get a prize.

I took a Turkish cooking class

We have a great secret here in Rochester, the Turkish Cultural Center. Once a month they host classes, and share their warm hospitality.





My friend, Gabrielle, is Egyptian, so the Turkish food feels almost like home to her.

I Went to Minnesota



First to Minneapolis/St. Paul, then to Ikea (very important), and then to beautiful Lindstrom with the cutie patootie water tower.
