Another Zoom painting class

It was Jennifer Orkin Lewis doing an acordion book garden party. My brain didn't want to do that book form, so I. used my sketchbook. I'm getting closer to looseness by using a dagger brush for this whole 2 page spread. Plus, some colored pencil lines.

VB vs. David Hockney

 David Hockney is one of my favorite artists. I apologize, Mr. Hockney for putting a swimsuit on your painting to keep this blog puritanical.  But, I was feeling a bit disappointed at my attempt at watercolor water, until I put it next to yours. Thank you for making me feel okay about it! You are a great artist and human being.

I'm learning Canva

Step 1: a photo from April.

Step two: make a photo collage of Beth's pansy photos in Canva.

Step three: I put the Canva collage into Procreate for some leafy too-muchness.
