Weird made up flowers

I've been taking a gouache painting class on Skillshare. This is a practice page.

Elizabeth sent this from Vanilla Bean coffee shop

Thank you, Beth!! XOXOXO

32 weeks and a potluck

Jon made pizza on a stone in the oven. Shizzy is 32 weeks along, and baby Hardy's birthday will be October 14th.

He’s hiding

Sasha thinks I don't know he's behind the curtain.

Practicing with gouache in the art journal/sketchbook.

Gouache

Sometimes it's soothing to swatch out your paints. You can't see it here, but that Holbein Opera color is jumping off the page.

Always remember that Pangaea mural

The continents are still drifting, 2 inches per year. In 300 million years, Earth may have a new Pangaea.

Jumping for Joy

Finally, I am (on 9-1-19) professionally certified in NY! Also, on 9-14-19, I'll have tenure in the RCSD!! Yay, ME!!!! (Well, who else is gonna toot that horn?)
Well done! You stuck it out for 4 years! You are a paperwork genius!!! The Principal sort of likes you, sometimes. (Can't have everything.)
Now, if we can just keep the Student Loan Forgiveness Program going for at least the next 7 years, I'll be satisfied. Those of us with crushing debt deserve it. We're trying to change the world, one kid at a time, and it's not easy.

Why did they park it here? Where all the buses unload the children?

This lovely machine was sitting in the bus loop all morning.

Sunday Morning Knitting

Well, these are pictures from 2 weeks ago, when I thought (mistakenly) that the Stupid Bronchitis Episode was over. Liza and I sat on her deck and knitted. We drank some fresh black currant juice (garden grown) which was tasty.
Yeah, I know I take too many flower pictures, but it's not like I'm wasting film, or anything. I love digitality.
