Friday, December 20, 2019, School #4 lost four teachers, four reading specialists and two paraprofessionals. The students found out about this today, and there was a lot of crying. One of the girls was so upset she threw up. 

So many other solutions could have been implemented.

We Protest

Over 1000 teachers, parents, students, paraprofessionals and supporters from Buffalo, Syracuse, Pittsford, and other suburbs came out in advance of the school board meeting on Thursday. Mid-year layoffs are imminent, and the superintendent and board plan to cut over 100 teachers and support staff tonight.

I went on a field trip with kindergarten and firsties to Genesee Country Village and Museum. 

The stockings were hung on the messy mantle with care. Christmas decorating done. Boom.
