A Second Grade Portrait of Rochester

One of my little students created this masterpiece!

I took a Turkish cooking class

We have a great secret here in Rochester, the Turkish Cultural Center. Once a month they host classes, and share their warm hospitality.

My friend, Gabrielle, is Egyptian, so the Turkish food feels almost like home to her.

I Went to Minnesota

First to Minneapolis/St. Paul, then to Ikea (very important), and then to beautiful Lindstrom with the cutie patootie water tower.

I took some students kayaking today...

They're from Hungary, Italy, Iran and Saudi Arabia. We laughed a lot.

Loosen Up
