This is Ms. Clayton's desk. This room is so nice. We don't miss Freddie Thomas at all.

We wrote about all the steps in the recipe.

The kids were busy writing for 30 minutes.

The Slime Makers

We brainstormed and recorded words we needed to write about the project.

We squirted glue into a bowl.

The slime was sticky and stretchy.

Which ones are from Wegmans, and which ones are from the farm?

The white ones are jumbo eggs from Wegmans. My friend Liza has some crazy chickens that just started to lay eggs, so they are giving them away to everyone.

I made a new sketchbook

First you make a small quilt for the cover. I like it to wrap around the page block.

The inaugural painting is the Poughkeepsie train station.

I sewed the signatures in using a 9-hole pamphlet stitch.

Below is the front cover when the book is closed. I got the fabric from Spoonflower, and the fruit print is by one of my fave artists, Ohn Mar Win.

I Met Joe in Poughkeepsie

We had a great visit together. I met him at the train station.

We were tourists at Storm King Art Center, DIA Beacon, and Eleanor Roosevelt's home at Val-Kill. We had good food and laughed a lot.

It's been a busy week.

Draw with Danny Gregory (online) on Thursday turned out to be amusing. I was not in the zone.

Zoo Brew with Shizuka, Jon. and Matt. We saw these guys, wolves, a tiger, a noisy lion, a zebra and some sea lions. Lots of the animals were indoors, I think because it was so hot outside.
